Kulen Mountain entry ticket prices

1 day - $20 USD per person. This ticket is payable at the Kulen mountain entry gate and valid only on the day of purchase.

Pickup time and location:

Your fluent English speaking guide and driver will meet you at your hotel at 8.00 am from your hotel. The travel time is around 1.hour, 45mn by air-conditioned car or minibus depending on your group numbers.

Lunch is available to be purchased on the mountain.

We will drop you back to your hotel around 3-4 pm.

The Wonderful Kulen Mountain

Kulen mountain about 48km north of Siem Reap. There is a sanctuary in the area, Phnom Kulen National Park, straddling the districts of Svay Leu and Va Rin. Phnom Kulen is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia, of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come to the mountain in pilgrimage.

Kulen Mountain has a history dating back to the 8th Century Initially developed by the great King Jayavarman the second. During your tour, we will visit the reclining Buddha, built on top a huge piece of sandstone in the 16th century. You can enjoy a swim in the “magical waters above or below the incredible waterfalls.
Enjoy taking beautiful photography of “The River of A Thousand Lingas”. In this river, there are carvings under the water that are simply amazing. These carvings were ordered by King Jayavarman the fourth in the 10th Century. Kulen mountain is also the location that was featured in the movie “Tomb Raider” with Angelina Jolie.


  • Swimming is allowed at Kulen Mountain but please dress conservatively. Please dress properly when visiting temples. If you wear shorts and T shirts, make sure they are long enough to cover the knees and shoulders. No scarf or shawl worn over a tank top are allowed.
  • Please take an extra camera battery or charger with you, when we have lunch you can recharge your camera there.
  • In Cambodia you do not need local Khmer currency. US Dollar is accepted everywhere. Also if you withdraw money from ATM it is in USD. Only small change is given in Riel “Reel”
